Make your vote count in 2005
New
Zealanders are proud of our clean green reputation and we love the
land and sea. Yet many of the things that make Aotearoa/New Zealand
special are threatened by pests, pollution and degradation. In order
to protect New Zealand from further environmental degradation political
action must be guaranteed at this election.

What is the Vote For the Environment?
VFE is an environmental charter prepared for the General Election.
It sets out the key principles and policy planks that ECO groups
consider should be adopted by all political parties. The members
of Vote for the Environment 2005 are ECO, Greenpeace and the Royal
Forest & Bird Protection Society.
